French Spring Manufacturer Acquired by 350-Year-Old Spring Conglomerate

Established in 1675, the Lesjöfors Group is one of the largest spring conglomerates in the world. The company has been making springs since 1852 and now have a portfolio that includes springs, gas springs, metal belts and pressings.

This week, the company announced the acquisition of Ressorts Lacroix, the first French spring manufacturer to come into the Lesjöfors fold.

Based in Northern France, Ressorts Lacroix makes a range of springs and wire parts for customers within the hydraulic, automotive, aerospace and medical sector.

Lesjöfors Group, which is based in Sweden, has acquired several spring companies in recent months. The company now has more than 60 locations.
