Dhara Vyas has been named the new CEO of Energy UK, the trade association for the energy industry.
Starting in November, Dhara Vhyas will take over from Emma Pinchbeck, who is leaving to lead the Climate Change Committee.
Dhara Vyas, who has served as Energy UK’s Deputy CEO since November 2022, originally joined the organisation in 2021 as Director of Advocacy.
Ms Vyas previously worked at Citizens Advice, focusing on issues related to net zero, decarbonisation and the future energy market.
Her background also includes work in local government and a range of policy areas, including customer service, smart energy and local democracy.
Dhara Vhyas is also involved with advisory boards and is a trustee of Green Alliance, an environmental think tank.
