DS Automobiles will replace the DS7 this year with a new SUV, the No7, which will introduce a long-range electric powertrain capable of up to 460 miles WLTP.
The new model will sit in the premium compact SUV segment, competing with rivals such as the BMW X1 and Audi Q3, and is expected to play a key role in the brand’s future line-up.
At the centre of the range is the E TENSE electric version, which uses a 97.2kWh battery to deliver a maximum WLTP range of up to 740km (460 miles). Three electric variants will be offered, including front wheel drive and all wheel drive versions, with outputs of up to 350hp.

Hybrid option retained
Alongside the electric line-up, DS will also offer a hybrid version with emissions from 121g/km, providing an alternative for customers not yet ready to fully electrify.
The hybrid uses a 1.2 litre petrol engine paired with an electric motor, based on technology used across the wider Stellantis group.
Platform and positioning
The No7 is built on Stellantis’ STLA Medium platform, which also underpins models such as the Peugeot 3008 and Vauxhall Grandland.
Measuring 4.66 metres in length, the SUV is slightly larger than the outgoing DS7, with a focus on improving interior space and rear passenger comfort. DS continues to position the model as a refinement led offering within the segment.
The No7 is expected to go on sale in the UK later in 2026, with pricing likely to start from around £40,000 based on early indications from European markets.
The model forms part of DS’s wider electrification strategy and is expected to be a key volume product as the brand looks to strengthen its position in the premium SUV market.
