The specialist automotive law team from Radius Law is joining Cripps, in a move designed to deliver strengthened commercial law capability and establish a dedicated automotive sector offering.

Radius Law founder Iain Larkins, who is joining Cripps as a partner, will move alongside other members of the Radius team, in a move effective from May 1. The team will largely be based in Cripps’ London office.

The team is said to bring extensive experience advising automotive industry businesses, having represented manufacturer brands, dealer groups and trade associations. They will be aiming to help manufacturers and retailers respond to issues such as electrification, digitalisation, new market entrants and evolving regulatory frameworks.

Cripps is also set to continue Radius Law’s thought leadership work, including co-hosting the fifth Annual Automotive Business and Law Conference with The Motor Ombudsman, which is taking place on May 20.
