Cox Automotive Europe has launched eVA Self-Inspect, a remote appraisal tool under its eVA Valuations & Appraisals brand.
The tool is designed to help retailers increase efficiency, attract high-quality leads from a broader geographic area, and improve conversion rates by giving customers the power to complete part-exchange appraisals themselves.
eVA Self-Inspect allows customers to appraise their vehicles remotely using any mobile device by uploading details such as service history, number of keys, and vehicle images before visiting a dealership.
This not only saves time for the dealership but also signals strong buying intent from customers, allowing retailers to focus on higher-value leads.
The ability to carry out appraisals remotely also gives retailers access to customers beyond their immediate local area, creating new opportunities for engagement and growth.
Libo Bian, product director at Cox Automotive Europe, said the tool is a direct response to a persistent challenge for dealerships. “Time is money for retailers. With increasing operational costs squeezing margins, efficiency is crucial for a successful retailer today.
“We’re consistently looking for pain points across the retailing process, and for many of our customers, appraisals were a recurring sticking point in the customer acquisition process and were blocking conversions. eVA Self-Inspect is designed to remove these barriers and enable retailers to value vehicles faster, improve conversions and build trust with customers.”
The tool is now available to all existing eVA account holders.
