Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced that Collins Aerospace, an RTX business and global supplier of aerospace and defense products, plans to expand its manufacturing and R&D operations in Richardson.
Collins Aerospace expects the $57 million project to create more than 570 jobs. The company also received a Texas Enterprise Fund (TEF) grant of $3,718,000.
The Texas Governor’s Office and the company did not provide additional expansion details.
