Chery has confirmed that the Tiggo 4 small SUV will become its fourth model available in the UK.
The Tiggo 4 will be Chery’s first UK model with a CSH full hybrid (non-plug-in) powertrain, featuring a 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 1.83kWh battery, with a total output of 204PS.
Chery, the owner of the Omoda, Jaecoo and Lepas brands (the latter recently announced as entering the UK market this year), began selling cars here under its own name last year, with the Tiggo 7, Tiggo 8 and Tiggo 9.
It says prices for the Tiggo 4 will start from £19,995, and that the model will come with a seven-year/100,000-mile warranty, plus an eight-year/100,000 mile battery warranty.

Tiggo 4 available to pre-order now
Full specs and range pricing for the Tiggo 4 are yet to be confirmed, with Chery saying details of these will be announced in the coming weeks. However, the model is now available to pre-order via the brand’s dealer network.
Chery claims the model will feature ‘comprehensive safety and driver assistance technology’ as standard.
Elements of the Tiggo 4’s styling, such as the diamond front grille and signature LED lighting, are recognisable from other models in the Chery range.
Farrell Hsu, UK country director for Chery, said: “The Chery Tiggo 4 CSH is a model we’ve been very excited to introduce in the UK.
“Our first full-hybrid reflects what Chery stands for – smart technology, everyday usability and exceptional value.
“It’s packed with personality and intelligent features, with our unique Chery Super Hybrid technology as standard, giving customers a smarter choice for their next SUV.”
Chery took a 1.56% share of the UK new car market in February, with 1,406 registrations, according to data from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).
