BYD Energy Storage has passed 1.5 million residential energy storage installations worldwide, marking a decade of growth in home and small commercial markets.
The milestone comes in a year of major product updates and a shift towards fully integrated home energy solutions.
At the centre of the new line up is the Battery-Box HVB, the first system in the range to use BYD Blade Battery technology.
Higher energy density allows more storage in a lighter, more compact unit, giving homeowners more capacity in less space and enabling faster, simpler installations.
The slimline HVE solution, just 140mm deep, supports flexible combinations of 4.29 kWh and 6.43 kWh modules in multiple configurations, including a new large capacity A/B package.
This is designed to lower total system costs without sacrificing flexibility, helping households maximise returns as storage economics tighten.
BYD has also launched its first in house Power-Box inverters for the Battery-Box HVE, available in single phase and three phase high voltage options.
The company says its cleaning up its act with use of cobalt free LFP chemistry across all Battery-Box systems and points to improving ESG ratings and recent European awards as evidence of its focus on responsible production and efficient design.
