Car key and programming equipment specialist Autowave is to supply all seven of YMF’s branches with same-day delivery replacement keys.
With the addition of YMF’s network of branches in York, Malton, Selby, Scarborough, Poppleton, Harrogate and Thirsk, Autowave’s motor factor network dispenses with the need for distributors to hold stock in-house, thus, saving on space and convenience, it says.
It’s a win-win, according to Autowave chief executive Ravi Kotecha.
“This collaboration signifies our commitment to expanding our distribution network and reaching a wider audience, but it also shows the confidence distributors have in Autowave and window of opportunity of replacement keys has overall,” Kotecha said.
On forging a relationship with YMF, Kotecha added: “YMF is a reputable name in the sector. From initial contact, we have been impressed with the company’s forward-thinking attitude, appetite and desire to work together and build a successful partnership. We’re delighted.”
YMF Car Parts managing director Lee Jones said: “We look forward to a successful partnership and the added value it brings to our branches and customers across the region.”
