Audi will open UK order books in early June for its new A6 Saloon and Avant TFSI e quattro plug-in hybrid models, with prices starting from £60,980.
The next-generation A6 PHEV range introduces a larger 25.9kWh battery, giving the new Sport, S line and Edition 1 trims an electric-only driving range of up to 64 miles (WLTP) – a 45% improvement over the outgoing model.
Both variants fall into the 9% benefit-in-kind tax band for the 2025/26 financial year, making them a compelling choice for fleet and business users.
Customer deliveries are due later this summer.
All models feature a 299PS powertrain, quattro all-wheel drive and all-wheel steering as standard. Charging time from 0 to 100% takes around two and a half hours with an 11kW AC charger.
Audi said cabin noise suppression has been improved by up to 30% over the previous generation, thanks to upgraded seals and acoustic enhancements.
The A6 TFSI e quattro offers two main driving modes – EV and Hybrid – with steering wheel paddles enabling manual control of three levels of regenerative braking. The system prioritises electric running wherever possible, automatically recovering energy during deceleration.
