Arterex, a medical device developer and contract manufacturer, has acquired Adroit USA, a vertically integrated contract manufacturer that specializes in complete medical device manufacturing.
Adroit USA, established in 2003 in Pleasanton, California, operates two ISO 13485-certified manufacturing facilities in Bangalore, India, along with an an engineering applications development lab in Milpitas, California. The company has more than 650 employees and specializes in injection-molded plastic components, stainless steel and nitinol components, and fully assembled and packaged medical devices.
The acquisition of Adroit USA Inc. positions Arterex to provide its customers the benefits of a cost-effective alternative production source to China, while leveraging Adroit USA Inc.’s existing capabilities and workforce to quickly and fully scale production.
