Arbury Motor Group has donated a further £8,305 to local charity The Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust which it is has supported since 2023.

It first supported the charity after it provided vital help to the family of James Mackay, Arbury’s group head of fleet and business sales, when his daughter Emilia received treatment for aplastic anaemia.

Earlier this year, Arbury launched a campaign pledging to donate £5 to the charity for every Peugeot customer satisfaction survey received. This initiative has now generated £8,305 in donations.

Ben Archer, managing director at Arbury, said: “The Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust is a wonderful charity that’s very close to our hearts. When we heard about Emilia’s journey and the challenges she and her family are facing, it was important to us to rally behind such an important mission.

“The trust’s efforts have been a source of hope and comfort for James’ family, and this contribution is a gesture of gratitude from everyone in the Arbury family. We hope our donation can help raise awareness, conduct research and provide support for children battling cancer.”

Archer continued: “We’re very proud of our Team Arbury culture, and I’m proud to see us coming together as a team to raise vital funds and awareness for this important cause. No family should fight childhood cancer alone, and here at Arbury, we want to help make a meaningful impact.”

The Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust, based in Worcestershire, provides comprehensive support to families facing childhood cancer, from financial and emotional aid to funding research on rare and aggressive cancers. They also work to educate families and medical professionals about the early signs of childhood cancer and produce resources to help parents and children understand the treatments they are undergoing.
