AM has been announced as a finalist for the Automotive Business Publication of the Year Award.

The category is one of several in the UK’s most prestigious annual awards for automotive media, conducted by Newspress.

AM is the only finalist dedicated to UK motor retailers out of the shortlist of six publications in the category.

“I’m very proud that AM has been selected as a finalist in recognition of the work we did during 2023 providing motor retailers with the news and insights that helps them to keep track of industry developments and that influences how they run their businesses,” said AM editor Tim Rose

“Last year was a huge transitional year for AM, when we embarked on a purely digital and events-focused future after decades spent publishing print magazines. Our data shows that more automotive managers than ever are coming to AM-online for our content, our reach of franchised dealers is unparalleled and our useful insights, such as the AM100 analysis and AM’s Dealer Technology Guide, are well received.

“And we’re going further in 2024, following the recent relaunch of our AM-online website, the launch of the AM Executive Briefing, and more topical webinars, plus our very successful AM Awards and Automotive Management Live events.”

Tim Rose, who is now in his 20th year at AM, having started as news editor in July 2004, was also revealed to be a finalist in the Automotive Editor of the Year, Automotive Business Journalist of the Year and the Automotive News Journalist of the Year categories.

The winners of the Newspress Awards will be announced in early June.
