Swansway Motor Group’s Aaron Keating has been promoted as head of business at its Honda Bolton dealership.

Keating has 19 years of experience in the motor trade, starting as a service advisor, and working his way up the ladder with experience in roles such as workshop controller, service manager and aftersales manager.

He joined Swansway Motor Group as aftersales manager at Blackburn Audi in March 2020 before making the transition to aftersales manager at Preston Audi.

Swansway Motor Group director Peter Smyth said: “At Swansway we believe in supporting our talent, helping them to be the best they can be, and giving them opportunities to achieve this.

“Whether you work in sales or aftersales, the position of head of business is one that we hope many of our team members aspire to.

“Aaron is just one example of several aftersales managers taking the next step within Swansway and making a success of it”.

Keating will be following in the steps of several heads of business at Swansway Motor Group who have progressed from the aftersales manager role, including Crewe Audi’s John Oakley, Crewe Volkswagen’s James Keir, Volkswagen Van Centre Birmingham’s Wayne Ollerenshaw, and Swansway Audi brand director Ben Gilbert.

Swansway Motor Group acquired the Honda Bolton site in 2015 from Gordon’s.

The group now operates dealerships across the Midlands, North West, and North Wales, with 22 retailers representing nine brands and five Motor Match dealerships, alongside their Crewe-based accident repair centre and fleet division.
