AM100 dealer group City West Country is expanding through acquisition of another Mercedes-Benz dealership.
It has competed the takeover of Exeter’s Mercedes-Benz Van Centre, which has been operated by Snows Motor Group since 2017.
Snows filled an open point in the Mercedes-Benz Vans franchise network, opening a new-build dealership following a £1.4 million investment in the site. However it remained its only Mercedes-Benz business.
City West Country will relocate the Mercedes-Benz Vans sales operation to alongside its Mercedes-Benz car dealership at Marsh Barton, Exeter, while the aftersales team will be based at its service centre at Clyst St Mary.
Trading as Mercedes-Benz South West, City West Country is ranked 57th in the AM100 currently with annual revenues exceeding £235 million. It has four Mercedes-Benz dealerships in the region, retailing new and used cars and used vans.
It recently completed a refurbishment of its Exeter Mercedes-Benz dealership, and last year it added the Chinese brands GWM Ora and BYD to its portfolio of franchises.
