Technology company Ebbon Automotive has launched Orca Marketplace, a new inventory management platform.
The company says the system is designed to allow users, including dealers as well as manufacturers and leasing companies and brokers, to manage vehicle sales and stock campaigns from a single central platform with increased flexibility and transparency.
It is the first deployment of Orca, which Ebbon Automotive describes as its new-generation e-procurement platform and forthcoming replacement for its Leaselink platform.
It is designed to handle a range of campaigns including tactical sales, used vehicles, committed stock, procurement plans, and stock and production vehicles.

Development accelerated in response to demand
Ebbon Automotive says development of the new platform was accelerated due to demand from leasing brokers, with six having already signed letters of intent to use it.
As well as integrating with the new Orca platform, Orca Marketplace can also operate as a stand-alone system and connect directly to users’ back offices via API.
