Employees will be able to choose electric cars priced against live leasing deals through a new salary sacrifice platform launched by Leasing.com and Ezoo.

The service replaces the fixed vehicle menus commonly used by salary sacrifice providers with pricing drawn from business contract hire offers available through the Leasing.com marketplace.

Leasing.com said the approach would allow available cars and monthly costs to reflect current leasing offers rather than price lists updated at set intervals.

The platform is being offered to businesses of all sizes, including small and medium-sized companies looking to introduce an electric vehicle salary sacrifice benefit.

Live deals replace fixed menus

Leasing.com will supply vehicle availability and pricing from its network of leasing partners, while its  exclusive salary sacrifice partner Ezoo will operate the employer and employee elements of the scheme.

The companies said this combination would give employees access to a broader and more dynamic selection of leasing opportunities.

Mike Fazal, chief executive of Leasing.com, said: “Most salary sacrifice schemes rely on static vehicle lists and pricing structures that can quickly become detached from movements in the leasing market.

“Our partnership with Ezoo changes that. By combining Ezoo’s salary sacrifice expertise with Leasing.com’s live marketplace pricing, employees can access some of the most competitive salary sacrifice offers available, while employers gain a valuable employee benefit that is simple to implement and manage.

“We believe this is the closest salary sacrifice has come to bringing true market competition and pricing transparency into the employee benefit sector.”

The marketplace model means vehicle choice will be linked to deals currently available through participating leasing companies, rather than being restricted to a pre-selected list maintained by a single scheme provider.

Managed scheme targets SMEs

Ezoo will manage employer qualification, employee onboarding, scheme administration and continuing customer support.

The fully managed structure is intended to reduce the administrative burden on employers, particularly smaller businesses without dedicated fleet or benefits teams.

Kalvin Saranna, director of technology at Ezoo, said: “This partnership creates something genuinely different in the salary sacrifice market.

“Employees aren’t limited to a static menu of vehicles. Instead, they can benefit from a dynamic marketplace model that reflects real leasing opportunities and real market pricing.

“Together, we’re making electric vehicle salary sacrifice more accessible, more competitive, and better value for employers and employees alike.”
