Lookers has reopened its Nissan Newcastle dealership following what it describes as a major investment to create a customer-first environment.
The AM100 dealer group said the Portland Road site had been transformed in line with Nissan’s newest retail standards, with a contemporary look and more digital integration.
The changes to the Newcastle dealership mark the latest investment by Lookers in its Nissan network in the region, having spent £1.8 million opening a dealership in Sunderland in 2023, a year after investing £1 million in its dealership in Gateshead.
The group employs more than 300 staff across the region – home to Nissan’s main UK manufacturing base – including 50 at the Newcastle dealership.
