Designed specifically for automotive retailers and developed in-house by motor retail experts, VoiceBox CXP from TekCor4 combines predictive insights with automated, hyper-targeted communications to deliver measurable improvements in leads and conversions. It is the only auto-specific digital marketing and data intelligence platform that operates across both sales and aftersales, ensuring consistency of communication across the whole customer lifecycle and minimising data duplication.

Automating for a personalised sales funnel

VoiceBox Sales features automated tools that target prospects yet to convert, as well as leads defined by sales teams as ‘lost’. New analysis by TekCor4 has highlighted the pivotal role that can be played in qualifying and converting the rising volume of sales enquiries, largely coming in via digital channels.

TekCor4 analysed over seven million messages sent during the first six months of 2026 on behalf of over 600 retailers in the UK – many issued in response to website visits and initial digital interactions – and identified a net 19% year-on-year increase in resultant enquiries, equivalent to over 720,000 over the first half of the year.

The analysis found very high levels of engagement with digital messages created to qualify customer interactions. One example is enquiry follow-up emails issued by VoiceBox Sales, which had a 61% open rate and a 17% click-through rate. These automated messages are highly effective for keeping active leads engaged until they reach a point where the sales team can take over.

Retailers have also seen marked success with dynamic Stock Alerts, which share details of vehicles similar to those that the customer previously enquired about. These alerts are not just one-way; the customer can reply, and retailer teams are instantly notified to take action. These have seen an average open rate of 47% and a click-through rate of 22%. These metrics demonstrate the opportunity that comes from retailers having a contact plan that uses automation to qualify and convert enquiries at scale without over-burdening sales teams.

This year so far, VoiceBox Sales messages have contributed directly to over 25,000 sales conversions across almost 480 rooftops. This equates to 52 additional sales per rooftop, with a cost per conversion of £54 and average additional profit per rooftop of £65,320.

A complete view of a vehicle’s needs

Historically, aftersales teams have relied on manual processes to track and schedule jobs that might be required on a vehicle in the future. VoiceBox Aftersales can draw on manufacturers’ vehicle maintenance data. This is then combined with analysis of previous invoices for work completed to equip workshops with real-time updates and predictions for MOT and servicing.

This process is further enhanced by drawing on previous vehicle history and additional maintenance prompts from the OEM, such as gearbox, cambelt and brake fluid work, as well as safety recalls.

VoiceBox provides dealers with the opportunity to turn these insights into service bookings. This fundamental shift from reactive to predictive communication drives stronger retention, as dealers are always one step ahead in anticipating customer needs. Data shows customers expect the retailer and OEM to be ‘joined up’ in this way, and they respond more positively when multiple jobs can be combined into fewer workshop visits.

The future of AI in aftersales

At this year’s AM Live, TekCor4 is ready to talk about VoiceBox Intelligence, an intuitive new aftersales solution that uses AI to forecast which vehicle jobs are likely to be the most profitable for workshops, as well as which have the highest propensity to convert. This is possible thanks to TekCor4’s ability to access and process OEM data, invoice information and insights gathered from work completed on different vehicles over time. From this analysis, VoiceBox Intelligence compiles a list for the retailer to contact ahead of service or MOT due dates – much of which can be done using automated campaigns created and activated using VoiceBox CXP.

Retailers involved in an early pilot of this system saw lead conversions rise 2.3 times their baseline average. Of over 4,000 leads analysed, nearly 1,200 were prioritised as ‘hot’ and these converted at an even higher rate – nearing three times the average.
