Vertu has reintroduced new Renault and Dacia sales at its Mansfield dealership after operating solely as an authorised repairer for the two brands since early 2024.
The Southwell Road West dealership will once again offer the full new car ranges alongside its existing Hyundai sales and aftersales operations.
Renault and Dacia first joined the Mansfield Hyundai dealership in 2015, but new car sales for both brands were withdrawn in early 2024 although Vertu continued to provide servicing and repair support for existing customers.
Renault and Dacia return
The return of the two franchises means Vertu now operates 10 dealerships across the UK offering the full Renault and Dacia model ranges.
The dealer group said the decision followed growth in Renault’s UK sales and the introduction of models including the Renault 4 and Renault 5. Customers at Mansfield will also be able to view Dacia models including the Bigster.
A number of employment opportunities have been created at the dealership as part of the expansion.
James Ashley, general manager at Vertu Renault and Dacia Mansfield, said: “We are delighted to bring new car sales for both Renault and Dacia back to the dealership.
“Although we have continued to offer aftersales support to our Renault and Dacia customers in recent years, it is exciting to now have the opportunity to offer sales of a wide selection of models available across both ranges, such as the Renault 5 and the Dacia Bigster.
“With our award-winning sales and aftersales service for Hyundai continuing at the dealership, we look forward to welcoming customers – both new and returning – to the site to explore the full range of vehicles available.”
Hyundai operation continues
The Mansfield dealership will retain its Hyundai sales and aftersales operation alongside the returning Renault and Dacia franchises.
Vertu said the dealership had been ranked among the UK’s best by customer review platform JudgeService. Lauren Geary, workshop controller at the dealership, was also named workshop controller of the year at Vertu’s annual management awards earlier in 2026.
Robert Forrester, chief executive of Vertu, said: “The success of the team working at the Southwell Road dealership speaks for itself, and we’re thrilled to expand the offering at the site to include new car sales for both Renault and Dacia.
“Having regularly scored highly amongst our Hyundai customers for their experience at the dealership, I have no doubt that people looking for a new Renault or Dacia model in Mansfield and the surrounding area will be in safe hands with James and his team.”
