Toyota has confirmed pricing for the new Hilux range, including the first all-electric version of the pick-up.
The ninth-generation Toyota Hilux will arrive in the UK in June with a double-cab body style only and a choice of diesel, electric and, from 2028, hydrogen fuel cell powertrains.
The existing 2.8-litre mild hybrid diesel engine will carry over from the current Hilux and is expected to remain the volume seller for the range.
Prices start from £35,704 excluding VAT for the diesel-powered Hilux Active, rising to £48,204 for the entry-level electric Hilux Icon.

The electric Hilux uses a 59.2kWh battery with front and rear eAxles providing permanent all-wheel drive. Pre-homologation figures indicate a payload of approximately 715kg, towing capacity of 1,600kg and a WLTP driving range of around 150 miles.
Toyota said the vehicle has been engineered with “best-in-class” charging capabilities designed to reduce downtime.
The manufacturer has also confirmed a hydrogen fuel cell version will join the Hilux line-up in 2028.
The new Hilux introduces connected fleet management functions through the MyToyota app, allowing fleet managers to monitor up to 10 vehicles, including location, fuel level, charging status and journey analytics.
This is also the first Hilux to feature electric power steering, which Toyota said improves manoeuvrability and reduces kick-back when driving off-road.
The diesel Hilux range will be available in four trim levels: Active, Icon, Invincible and Invincible X.
Entry-level Active models include Toyota Safety Sense systems, a digital multi-information display, rear deck step and electric power steering.
Icon specification adds 17-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, a 12.3-inch Toyota Smart Connect multimedia system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and wireless charging.
Invincible versions gain part-leather upholstery, power-adjustable driver’s seat and a 12-inch digital display, while Invincible X adds unique 18-inch alloy wheels, JBL premium audio, heated rear seats and additional off-road technology features.
The all-electric Hilux will be offered in Icon and Invincible grades.
Standard equipment on the EV Icon includes alloy wheels, side steps, Multi-Terrain Select and Downhill Assist Control systems. The Invincible version adds leather upholstery, LED headlights and wireless charging.
