Adam Flint is to step down as group managing director of Porsche Retail Group after 11 years with the business.

Flint, who has led Porsche Retail Group for the past six years, confirmed his departure this week, bringing to a close more than a decade with the company.

He joined the group in 2015 and was appointed managing director in 2020, succeeding Ade Smith.

Prior to that, he held roles including centre principal at Porsche Centre Guildford, where he oversaw record profitability and sales performance.

In a statement posted to LinkedIn, Flint reflected on his time with the business and its development during his tenure.

He said: “It’s hard to put into words what this journey has meant to me.

“From the very beginning, I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside some of the most passionate, dedicated, and talented people in the automotive industry.

“Together, we’ve navigated challenges, celebrated successes, and continuously pushed ourselves to deliver excellence for our customers and the brand we represent.

“I’m immensely proud of what we’ve achieved as a team.

“Growing and strengthening our business, evolving with a changing market, and always striving to embody the values that make Porsche and Porsche Retail Group so iconic.

“To my colleagues, partners, Porsche and the wider community—thank you. Your support, trust, and commitment have made these years truly special and we’ve had a lot of fun along the way.

“As I look ahead to the next chapter, I do so with gratitude, pride, and huge excitement for what’s to come. I have no doubt that Porsche Retail Group will continue to go from strength to strength.”

Flint began his career with Ford Retail before moving to Lookers and later Audi UK.

His next role has not yet been confirmed.
