Mercedes-Benz has unveiled new details for its all-electric C-Class with up to 473 miles of range.
The German premium brand said UK pricing and specifications for the new electric C-Class will be confirmed in due course, with the model set to play a key role in its electric vehicle (EV) line-up.
The brand claims the new saloon is its sportiest C-Class to date, combining AIRMATIC air suspension and rear-axle steering with long-distance comfort typically associated with larger models.
Range is quoted at up to 473 miles (WLTP), with the ability to add up to 202 miles of range in 10 minutes using high-power charging, supported by an 800-volt architecture and a 94kWh battery.

Ola Källenius, Mercedes‑Benz Group chairman of the board of management, said: “The new model is the most powerful and sportiest C-Class we’ve ever built, offering pure driving pleasure and outstanding real-world range, all while being the perfect sanctuary for our customer.”
Mercedes-Benz said the model builds on the traditional strengths of the C-Class, including refinement and usability, while introducing new EV-focused technologies.
These include a heat pump system designed to improve efficiency in colder conditions and over-the-air software updates through its MB.OS operating system.
Inside, the model features a 39.1-inch MBUX Hyperscreen and enhanced personalisation through digital services, alongside upgraded seating and acoustic comfort aimed at reinforcing its positioning as a premium mid-size saloon.
The carmaker said the electric C-Class is designed to balance everyday usability with longer-distance capability, supported by features such as a front storage compartment, towing capacity of up to 1.8 tonnes and a suite of driver assistance systems.
The model will launch initially in the United States, with timing for other markets, including the UK, dependent on regulatory conditions.
