Mitsubishi Motors in the UK has confirmed pricing and specification details for the all-new Outlander PHEV, with first customer deliveries expected in May 2026.
The plug-in hybrid SUV will be priced from £46,995 on the road and offered in two trim levels. These include a seven-seat Nativa variant and a higher specification five-seat Diamond model.
The launch forms part of Mitsubishi’s wider return to the UK new car market, with International Motors overseeing distribution and a new 60-strong sales network being established to support the rollout.
The network will complement an existing aftersales footprint of more than 100 sites, with further dealer appointments expected to be confirmed in the coming months.
The latest Outlander PHEV combines a 2.4-litre petrol engine with front and rear electric motors, delivering more than 300bhp and a claimed range of over 500 miles. It features Mitsubishi’s Super-All Wheel Control system with seven selectable driving modes.
The model introduces a seven-seat configuration for the first time in the UK, broadening its appeal to family buyers and adding a new dimension to the brand’s plug-in hybrid offer.

Sharon Townsend, head of Mitsubishi Motors in the UK, said: “The bigger, bolder and more advanced new model helps to broaden the model’s appeal for families with the new seven-seat variant, something we’ve not had available in the UK until now.
“The original Outlander PHEV stamped its mark on the UK market and led the way in the plug-in era, as the sector’s best-selling model for a considerable time.
“This new version is looking to build on its predecessor’s success and reinforces Mitsubishi Motors’ commitment to delivering quality, innovation, and the real-world capability customers rightly expect from an authentic 4WD SUV.”
The Outlander PHEV will be one of the first new models to arrive as Mitsubishi re-enters the UK market, six years after withdrawing from new car sales in Europe.
The relaunch includes plans to introduce additional models from Mitsubishi’s global line-up, including hybrid and electric vehicles, as well as the L200 Series 7 pickup.
Mitsubishi said the phased expansion of its retail network is designed to align new dealer partners with its customer service standards, as it rebuilds its presence in the UK market.
The return follows the brand’s 2020 decision to halt new model introductions in Europe, which led to significant restructuring across its dealer network at the time.
