Farizon Auto UK has appointed Waterton Motor Group as its new dealer partner in South Wales, further strengthening the brand’s growing UK sales and aftersales network.

Farizon Bridgend will provide a full range of services for the electric van brand, including vehicle sales, maintenance and repair, parts, and technical support.

The dealership has received its first batch of all-electric SV vans and is preparing to showcase Farizon’s line-up to retail and fleet customers.

An initial team of six staff will support the operation, with plans to expand as volumes grow.

A dedicated area of the site has been rebranded for Farizon display and customer activity.

The partnership supports Waterton Motor Group’s strategy to expand its commercial vehicle operations, with plans for a standalone Farizon showroom and potential additional sites.

Calum James, general manager of Farizon Auto UK, said: “Waterton Motor Group’s long-standing experience in the commercial vehicle sector makes them a strong partner for us in Wales.

“Their expertise, combined with a dedicated team and ambitious growth plans, will play an important role in expanding Farizon’s presence and supporting customers across the region.”

The Farizon SV range starts from £40,000 plus VAT including the Plug-in Van Grant.

It is offered with 67kWh, 83kWh or 106kWh battery options, delivering a WLTP combined range of between 177 and 247 miles depending on version. Power output is 170kW with 336Nm of torque, while charging at up to 140kW enables a 20 to 80% recharge in around 36 minutes.

Farizon will be expanding its model line-up later this year with a medium-sized V7E electric van.

James told AM towards the end of 2025 that the business is keen to attract franchised dealers who already have experience of retailing vans and trucks.

He has already recruited four franchisees, including Rygor Auto, SMV Commercials and Heathrow Van Centre, but he needs more to expand Farizon’s presence from next year into other major urban markets or locations serving arterial roads.
