A new collaboration between Warranty Solutions Group (WSG) and MotorCap is designed to give UK dealers access to retail-ready used vehicles direct from Japan.
The strategic partnership will see vehicles sourced through WSG’s Prep4Less programme, and will see WSG dealers able to source vehicles via MotorCap’s established Japanese buying network.
MotorCap is described as the UK’s only wholesale importer of used vehicles from Japan dedicated exclusively to supplying the trade, specialising in low-mileage, high-grade vehicles.
Vehicles delivered via the partnership will be fully inspected, prepared and compliant for UK retail when they arrive.

Partnership claimed as stock shortage solution
According to MotorCap, dealers working with its model are regularly seeing estimated margins of more than 30% per vehicle – sometimes more than 40% depending on model and spec.
WSG says it expects the new partnership to help dealers facing stock availability issues to maintain inventory quality while protecting profitability.
