Pinewood.AI has expanded its business intelligence offering with a new Sales and Stock Insight module, giving dealers wider visibility across sales and inventory performance.

The automotive technology company said the launch builds on its aftersales business intelligence release and brings together vehicle sales and aftersales within a single reporting environment.

Embedded within the Pinewood Automotive Intelligence Platform, Sales and Stock Insight is designed to consolidate operational reporting across sales, stocking strategies, ageing, demand trends and conversion performance.

The aim is to support faster and more informed decision-making across dealership groups, sites and departments.

The expanded business intelligence solution is intended to provide end-to-end insight across the customer and vehicle lifecycle, from initial demand and stock planning through to retention and aftersales profitability.

Removing data silos

For existing Pinewood.AI customers, the module sits directly within the platform, removing the need to extract data or rely on third-party reporting tools.

Pinewood.AI said this allows dealerships to access key performance metrics more easily and compare performance across enterprise, site and departmental views using interactive dashboards.

Non-customers are also able to see the combined reporting capability of the platform, bringing together data on customer demand, stock merchandising, pricing and retailing in a single environment.

Jason Gregory, data and analytics director at Pinewood.AI, said: “Historically, gaining a complete picture of sales demand, stock mix, ageing and financial performance has been challenging for many dealerships, with data often spread across multiple systems, reports and third-party tools.

“This leads to a requirement for manual reconciliation and limits access to consistent, real-time insight.

“Sales and Stock Insight equips dealers with the ability to connect demand trends with stocking strategies and sales outcomes.

“As we move into 2026, this level of visibility is essential for driving efficiency, resilience and profitable growth.

“By removing data silos and providing a single source of truth, we’re enabling retailers to act faster, plan smarter and ultimately perform better.”

Pinewood.AI said its business intelligence solution remains available across three packages, covering core, enhanced and strategic insights, ranging from standard operational reporting to bespoke analytics aligned to individual business objectives.
