Automotive retailers are being encouraged to enter the AM Awards 2026, with Waylands highlighting the reputational and recruitment benefits of industry recognition.
Entries for the AM Awards close on January 30, with winners to be revealed at a gala dinner at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge in London on May 14.
John O’Hanlon, chief executive of Waylands, said recognition at the AM Awards plays an important role in reinforcing credibility with customers and supporting recruitment in a competitive labour market.
Waylands won the top prize in two categories last year, including Workshop of the Year (independent and franchised) and Dealer Group of the Year (more than 10 sites).
O’Hanlon said: “Being recognised at the AM Awards is a real pride point for us, as it provides an independent hallmark of our credibility.
“Not only is this important in our customer communications, but it is also valuable industry recognition that helps attract new colleagues to the business in a competitive recruitment landscape.
“We are incredibly proud of the AM Awards that we have previously been awarded across a number of different categories, and we know that Waylands’ colleagues are proud to be part of an award-winning business.”
The AM Awards are designed to recognise excellence across all areas of automotive retail, from leadership and customer service to sustainability, digital performance and operational success.
Dealer groups, independent retailers, and suppliers may submit across multiple categories, with submissions reviewed by an independent judging panel and verified by AM Awards auditors.
Automotive retailers are urged to submit their entries by January 30 to showcase best practices, innovation, and performance across their businesses.
