The Offshore Wind Growth Partnership (OWGP) has launched its 2025 Manufacturing Facility Support Programme (MFSP), a new £2 million funding call aimed at accelerating investment in UK offshore wind manufacturing.
The programme offers grants of up to £500,000 per project to support early-stage development work ahead of capital investment in new or expanded manufacturing facilities.
It is open to UK-registered companies and forms part of efforts to grow the domestic supply chain in line with the Offshore Wind Industrial Growth Plan.
The funding is targeted at businesses preparing to deliver infrastructure that can serve the offshore wind sector, including component production and assembly.
Projects must demonstrate the potential to unlock at least £5 million in capital investment within two years, generate £5 million in annual revenue and create 20 new UK jobs within five years.
Tom Piper, OWGP Project Manager, said: “MFSP is designed to support all development-phase work to accelerate final investment decisions in facilities. This targeted support enables UK manufacturers and suppliers to move forward with confidence and take decisive steps toward scaling up their operations, helping to strengthen the resilience and capability of our domestic supply chain.”
Applications will be assessed competitively, with successful bids required to outline a robust long-term business plan covering market share, profitability, export strategy and job creation.
The deadline to apply is 5pm on Friday 19 September 2025.
