A team from Codeweavers, a Cox Automotive brand, have successfully completed the national Three Peaks Challenge, raising over £1,500 for Ben, the automotive industry charity.

Ben is the charity dedicated to supporting the people of the automotive industry.

Most recently, the charity has expanded its support for neurodivergent individuals, recognising the growing need for tailored resources in an industry facing rapid change and increasing mental health pressures.

A team of 17 Codeweavers employees climbed Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon in just 24 hours as part of the iconic Three Peaks Challenge.

Their journey was inspired by a desire to give back to a charity that many in the team personally relate to, champion the prioritisation of mental health and inclusivity in the workplace and assist those navigating the challenges of neurodivergence.

The initiative also aligns with Cox Automotive’s commitment to ensuring inclusivity in the workplace, led by its Neurodiversity Employee Resource Group (ERG).

This working group aims to create a collaborative space, supporting neurodiverse colleagues across all Cox Automotive brands.

Matt Wigginton, director of growth & development at Ben, said: “This is a fantastic achievement – the Three Peaks is no easy challenge.

“Ben is on a mission to help more people each year; three times as many by 2030.

“That’s a bold ambition, but one we know we can achieve with the help of our industry, and friends like the team at Codeweavers.

“I’d like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in this challenge and to those who generously donated – together, we can change and save lives.”

Ben Dixon , head of corporate accounts, digital retail at Codeweavers, said: “Taking on the Three Peaks Challenge was more than a physical feat, it was a testament to our values at Codeweavers.

“We believe in creating a workplace where everyone feels seen, supported, and empowered.

“Supporting Ben, especially as they expand their focus on neurodiversity, aligns perfectly with internal commitments to champion diversity in the industry. We’re incredibly proud of our team and grateful to everyone who donated.”
