Oshkosh Corporation this week announced the renaming of its defense segment to the transport segment. Oshkosh Transport will continue to deliver tactical wheeled vehicles and mobility solutions to defense customers.
In addition, it will expand into commercial markets, including Oshkosh’s Next Generation Delivery Vehicle (NGDV) contract for the United States Postal Service (USPS).
Nordlund has more than 25 years of leadership experience in the aerospace, defense and mobility industries, including senior roles at Boeing where he led the Air Dominance division and drove R&D initiatives supporting advanced military technologies.
According to the company, the Oshkosh Defense subsidiary has delivered some 190,000 combat-ready vehicles and has more than 3,500 employees.
