Online car repair marketplace WhoCanFixMyCar has confirmed the permanent appointment of Amanda Webb as chief executive and Isaac Hughes as chief product & technology officer (CPTO).

Webb, a CIMA-qualified executive, originally joined the business in April 2024 as chief financial officer.

She stepped into the interim CEO role just four months later, steering the company through a pivotal phase of growth and platform development. Under her leadership, FixMyCar has expanded its core B2C offering while accelerating efforts to scale its B2B fleet solutions.

“I believe passionately in the service FixMyCar provides,” said Webb. “We’re at a crucial moment in our journey, with a clear and ambitious vision for the future. FixMyCar is delivering greater value than ever to drivers and garages alike, and I’m excited to lead a team so committed to improving the customer experience across both consumer and commercial channels.”

Hughes, who became interim CPTO in November 2024, brings nearly a decade of experience in product leadership across SaaS and eCommerce.

During his tenure, he has led a comprehensive overhaul of the company’s technical infrastructure and introduced key enhancements across the FixMyCar platform for both end users and garage partners.

“In just six months, I’ve been struck by the scale of opportunity and the talent within our teams,” Hughes said. “We’re now seeing real momentum with product-market fit, and I’m thrilled to continue this journey as we refine and scale our platform.”

The appointments come nearly two years after Niterra – formerly NGK Spark Plug – acquired WhoCanFixMyCar in a strategy to deepen its presence in the automotive aftermarket.

Since then, the platform has grown to support over one million drivers each year and partnering with a garage network of more than 15,000 garages, mobile mechanics, and dealerships.
