Regulatory investigations and authorisations expert Andy Smith has joined the team at Auxillias, the specialist legal and compliance firm.
The qualified lawyer, who has more than 20 years experience in legal, compliance and risk management across financial services gained from leadership roles at Likewize, Auden and The Money Shop, will be joining the team as an independent regulatory consultant.

His appointment follows a series of strategic hires at Auxillias to strengthen its regulatory and compliance expertise. Shannon Faulkner joined in March 2025, Paul Godsmark in September 2024, and Frank Brown in February 2024 – each bringing valuable industry knowledge to support the firm’s continued growth.

Smith has an executive MBA under his belt and he takes a well-rounded approach to solving complex regulatory challenges, the company said.
