Bowker Motor Group has submitted plans to expand its Porsche Centre in Bolton, as the retailer looks to enhance capacity and customer experience.
First opened in 2006, Porsche Centre Bolton was extended in 2018 and these latest expansion plans will see it grow even further.
The proposed redevelopment of the Manchester Road dealership would see the showroom extended, with upgrades to workshop space, office facilities and customer parking.
According to The Bolton News, the expansion is designed to meet increasing demand for the Porsche brand and support the group’s growing electric and hybrid vehicle servicing needs.
The Bolton site serves a wide catchment area across Greater Manchester and Lancashire, and the redevelopment would allow the centre to handle more volume while improving operational flow.
The planning application is now under review by Bolton Council.
Bowker acquired the Porsche Bolton site from Lithia UK in November last year and the location had been earmarked for investment by CEO Paul Bowker.
Bowker, which is one of the AM100 largest franchised dealer groups in the UK, also operates BMW, Mini, BMW Motorrad and Ineos dealerships in the region.
