The Society of Motor Manufactrers and Traders (SMMT) and Road Haulage Association (RHA) have sold the CV Show to event organisers Nineteen Group for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition follows a management partnership between the two organisations that began in August 2024, when Nineteen Group was appointed to organise the event.
The SMMT said the collaboration “quickly proved to be a strong fit”, combining Nineteen’s expertise with the show’s industry reputation.
The CV Show is one of the largest industy shows in the UK, alongside Fleet and Mobility Live on October 7-8, as well as the automotive retail industry’s leading event Automotive Management Live on November 12, both of which are being held at the NEC.
Peter Jones, Nineteen Group, chief executive, said: “We’re committed to building on the CV Show and deepening its impact across the sector.
“Crucially, we’ve entered into a long-term agreement with the Road Haulage Association (RHA) and the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) to continue their vital involvement ensuring the Show remains rooted in the industry it serves.”
Looking ahead, Nineteen Group said key areas of development for the CV Show include expanded content, enhanced visitor experiences and increased engagement with decision-makers across logistics, transport and supply chains.
The UK’s leading event for motor retailers returns in 2025.
