Skywell BE11 electric SUV customers are being offered 15,000 miles of free public charging for a limited time through the brand’s UK dealer network.

The offer comes through a partnership with Octopus Electric Vehicles, with new owners receiving £3,000 of charging credit via the Electroverse App. Based on an average public charging cost of 69p per kWh, this equates to around 15,000 miles of driving.

In addition to free public charging, Skywell is also providing a free Hypervolt Home 3 Pro wall box, including installation.

To complete the package, Skywell is offering a £6,000 deposit contribution on new purchases of the BE11, helping to price the D-segment electric SUV competitively against smaller combustion-engine cars.

David Clark, general manager at Skywell UK, said the brand’s latest initiative tackles some of the biggest barriers to EV adoption.

“We know that customers are often concerned about the cost of charging and the process of installing a home charger. By covering both, and with the £6,000 deposit contribution, we are making it as easy and affordable as possible to switch to electric.”

The Skywell BE11 is available in two battery sizes: a 72kW Standard Range offering up to 248 miles (304 miles city) and an 86kW Long Range model offering up to 304 miles (401 miles city), both tested to WLTP standards.

Prices for the BE11 start from £36,995, backed by a 7-year/100,000-mile warranty and up to 10 years of roadside assistance.
