FLIR (Wilsonville, OR), a Teledyne Technologies company, announced the FLIR TG268 and TG298 handheld thermal imagers for temperature diagnostics and condition monitoring applications.

The FLIR TG268 and TG298 provide thermal imaging and spot temperature measurement for use in electrical, mechanical, building and industrial environments.

The FLIR TG268 includes:

  • Measurement range from –25°C to 400°C (–13°F to 752°F)
  • 24:1 spot size ratio with bullseye laser pointer
  • Super Resolution upscaling thermal images to 320×240
  • MSX image enhancement for added context through overlaid visual details
  • Integration with the FLIR METERLiNK app for remote monitoring, live view and file transfer
  • Built-in flashlight, Type K thermocouple support, IP54 rating and 2-meter drop test durability

The FLIR TG298 includes:

  • Measurement range up to 1080°C (1976°F)
  • 30:1 spot size ratio with bullseye laser pointer
  • Temperature trending, logging and audible alarms
  • Designed for high-temperature industrial applications including kilns, forges and glass furnaces

Both devices feature fast boot-up, large data storage capacity and on-camera condition monitoring.

The FLIR TG268 and TG298 are suitable for use in commercial electrical inspection, facility maintenance, HVAC, process manufacturing and high-temperature industrial monitoring.

Accessories included with both models: wrist strap lanyard, pouch and USB Type-C cable.
