GM Debuts the Quickest Cadillac Ever

Cadillac recently announced plans to add to its V-Series lineup with the 2026 Cadillac LYRIQ-V, the first-ever all-electric vehicle in the series. 

The LYRIQ-V will have an estimated 0 to 60 time of 3.3 seconds, making it the quickest Cadillac ever, according to GM. The vehicle has approximately 615 hp and 650 lb-ft (880 Nm) of torque, and a “Competitive Mode” provides a suite of traction management features engineered to increase vehicle agility. 

GM plans to sell the LYRIQ-V in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, as well as other global markets, which will be announced later.

Production is scheduled to begin early this year at the automaker’s Spring Hill Manufacturing plant in Tennessee. According to the company, the vehicle will be built with both U.S. and globally sourced parts. 

On a full charge, the LYRIQ-V will have a range of 285 miles. The vehicle’s battery has a Lithium-ion Nickel Cobalt Manganese Aluminum (NCMA) cathode and blended-graphite anode, providing up to 102 kWh of useable battery energy. 

The MSRP starts at $79,990.
