Greenhous Group’s specialist premium and luxury vehicle business Lumen Automotive, will bring a right-hand drive Chevrolet Corvette to the UK.
The deal to bring the Corvette has been described as a major milestone in Lumen’s short history since it was established at the start of this year.
The specialist dealership was formed “to redefine the luxury car purchasing experience” and has delivered over 195 vehicles over its first year.
Ashley Passant, managing director of Greenhous Group, said: “We are thrilled to welcome the Corvette to our prestigious portfolio of brands.
“With its rich legacy of innovation and performance, the Corvette is a great match for us and our customers.
“We’re proud to represent this globally iconic marque and bring its extraordinary driving experience to the UK.”
The Corvette, which first debuted in 1953, is an American automotive icon which is now in its eighth generation.
Filippo Caracciolo, Corvette European distribution manager at General Motors Europe, said: “Bringing the C8 Corvette Stingray and Z06 in a right-hand drive configuration to the UK is a defining moment for the brand.
“Our affiliation with Lumen Automotive will offer a seamless entry into the UK market, and we’re excited to deliver the Corvette’s unparalleled engineering and exhilarating driving experience to British enthusiasts and collectors.”
The Corvette has been in the UK before, with more recent sales available between 2008 with automotive retail partners like Stratstone (at the time run by Pendragon, which is now owned by Lithia) and then exiting when Chevrolet pulled out of the UK market on a wider basis back in 2014.
