Nissan GB has appointed Matt Duncan as its new network development and customer quality director.

Duncan will take over from Csaba Vincze on January 2, 2025.

Vincze joined as network development director back in March 2023.

Duncan returns to Nissan GB from an assignment in Nissan Europe, where he led Qashqai product marketing for the AMIEO region (Africa, Middle East, India, Europe).

Prior to this, he worked in a variety of UK roles across marketing and sales and has experience of retail, fleet and used car sales which have helped him develop “a thorough knowledge of UK dealer operations”.

Diana Torres, managing director at Nissan GB, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Matt back to the UK for this key role in our business.

“He has a proven track record of high performance in multiple roles and has experienced fast progression through our organisation as a result.

“He takes on his new role at a time of great transformation in our industry and will lead our network development team and dealer partners in driving profitability, showcasing the exciting new product launches we have coming, and helping our customers make the transition to an electrified future.”

Over the last 12 months, Nissan dealers have welcomed updated versions of the Juke and Qashqai crossovers, a new X-Trail N-Trek variant and a performance EV – the Ariya Nismo – plus an all-new electric Interstar van.

Future models already announced include three new fully electric crossovers to be built in Sunderland and an EV successor to the Nissan Micra compact car.

Matt said: “I am very excited to be rejoining the team at NMGB to lead the evolution of our network and customer quality strategy.

“Having enjoyed previous roles working closely with our valued dealer partners, I look forward to developing our mid-term plans with a focus on shared value and further enhancing the excellent experience Nissan customers already enjoy in the UK.”
