HiQ sees quality boost in latest independent fast fit network audit

Over half of HiQ’s fast fit network of independent garages have been rated as Platinum or Gold as part of its latest national audit.

HiQ, which is backed by tyre brand Goodyear, has now completed its nationwide standards programme to rate 160 centres, which started in May this year. 

The results saw 5% or six locations rated at the highest level of Platinum, while 47% were awarded Gold.

A further 39% received Silver status.

As for the remaining 9% that didn’t achieve a Silver rating, a spokesperson for HiQ told AM: “All stores will continue to be part of the regular rigorous 200-parameter audits with the goal of achieving the highest standards across all locations.”

The standards programme evaluated more than 200 parameters, including the centres’ appearance, aesthetics, customer service and technical expertise.

HiQ’s ‘Platinum’ designation is awarded to the elite category of centres that can prove they have turned the network’s professional standards into “a truly outstanding customer experience”.

The highest-achieving HiQ centres will receive an official accreditation plaque to display on their premises.

Compared to HiQ’s last audit, results have improved by 27.6%, highlighting the success of the rebranding efforts and the elevated standards achieved across all centres.

“The audit results place HiQ in a stronger position to monitor performance across the network, and implement strategies to maximise consistency and quality.”
