Bassetts Nissan Swansea named Dealership Ambassador of the Year

Bassetts Nissan Swansea has capped off an impressive year of accolades by being named Dealership Ambassador of the Year for 2024, securing its place as the top-performing dealership within Nissan’s entire UK network.

This honour comes after a series of successes for the South Wales dealership, including being named one of three Dealership Ambassadors in the final quarter of the last financial year and winning the ‘Dealer of the Zone’ title on two recent occasions, triumphing over 11 other dealerships in south west England and South Wales.

Sales manager Charlie Foulkes said:”We are thrilled to have won the ‘Dealership Ambassador of the Year’ title. The news was extremely well-received. This is an award for everyone at Bassetts Nissan Swansea: managers, sales staff, service advisors, technicians – everybody.”

Foulkes credited the dealership’s commitment to customer service and the quality of Nissan’s range of vehicles for their success.

Bassetts Nissan Swansea was rigorously assessed as part of Nissan’s ‘Dealership Ambassador’ programme, with its performance benchmarked against other businesses in the region and across the UK.

A significant factor in its win was the dealership’s record-breaking achievement of the highest volume of registrations in the first quarter of the year within the entire dealer network.

The dealership has consistently garnered positive feedback from customers, who often commend the team for their warm hospitality and valuable advice. One customer even praised it as ‘the best dealership I have used by far’.

The dealership underwent a £400,000 renovation two years ago, embracing Nissan’s new corporate identity, which was well received by both customers and staff.

Kat Anley-Dean, dealer performance manager at Nissan GB, praised the team, stating: “Many congratulations to the team at Bassetts Nissan Swansea on their Dealership Ambassador of the Year Award – it’s very well deserved. They demonstrated the perfect balance of maintaining an excellent customer experience whilst delivering a fantastic sales performance.”
