Rittal’s AX Enclosure System provides improved security for terminals and operating personnel. The accessory extension, available for AX plastic enclosures and AX sheet steel compact enclosures, can be installed in the enclosure as a second level and an operator panel, without any machining.
Features include:
- The ability to separate technical and operating levels which offers protection for the components installed in the rear of the enclosure and defends operating personnel from electrically live parts.
- The ability to use the surface of the interior door as an additional mounting level to install buttons and displays.
- An interior door that can be installed at a variety of depths.
- Applicability in harsh outdoor environments, like on tankers and cranes, at sewage treatment plants, or in the maritime industry.
The interior door in the plastic AX enclosure is fitted using the lateral mounting bosses. In the sheet-steel AX version, it is fitted using the rail for interior installation on the embossed locator within the enclosure.
