As it nears its 80th anniversary the family-owned tyre replacement specialist BA Bush & Son is set to open its 33rd workshop in England.
The business, which trades as Bush Tyres and has a wholesale division branded BAB Distribution, now employs more than 300 people and generates annual revenues in excess of £71 million.
Having just opened its 33rd branch at Wakefield, it has now also signed a lease on a second property in Wakefield, a trade counter unit and office, as it gears up for further expansion across the North of England.
From its beginning in Lincolnshire in 1947, Bush Tyres now has sites spanning from Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire up through Yorkshire to County Durham. Its network size has doubled in the last 15 years.
Matthew Lincoln, general manager at Bush Tyres, said: “Our ‘quality at all costs’ philosophy underpins everything we do at Bush Tyres. Choosing the right locations to expand our footprint is a significant part of that promise — ensuring we not only deliver exceptional products and services, but that our expertise is timely and accessible too.”
