It is often said that the aftersales experience can make or break a dealership. Now Stellantis UK has applauded its ‘Stars of Stellantis’, individuals in aftersales roles within its dealer networks who stand out for their performance, aptitude and attitude.

It is the first time that the Stars of Stellantis grand finale event has been held, hosted by award-winning comedian and actor Russell Kane.

Service advisors, warranty administrators, technician apprentices, EV technicians, master technicians and service managers from across the UK were invited to enter the prestigious programme.

Some 1,400 took part across the Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Citroën, DS Automobiles, FIAT, Jeep, Peugeot, and Vauxhall dealer networks, and after a series of elimination stages, just 120 candidates in six categories remained in the grand finale, at which the six winners were decided.

The winners were:

  • Service advisor – Rhys Jones of Evans Halshaw Cardiff
  • Warranty administrator – Sian Jones of Howards Motor Group
  • Technician apprentice – Jack Clarke of Pratt & Gelsthorpe
  • EV technician – Richard Beverstock of Hendy Vauxhall Poole
  • Expert technician – Lawrence Barron of Stellantis & You Croydon
  • Service manager – Tony Boyd of Arnold Clark Blackpool.

Andy Kite, Stellantis UK aftersales operations director, said: “The standard of all entrants was extremely impressive.  Day in day out, these people provide the very best levels of service to our customers. The final was very close and I’m very proud of our winners but also every entrant, they are a credit to us all.”

He added that the Stars of Stellantis final day was challenging, fun, and a great learning experience. “Thank you to everyone who helped bring an idea to life in such a special way.”

Kite’s comments were echoed by Mark Pickles, parts and service director at Stellantis UK, who described them as “everyday heroes” and said the energy, attention to detail, creativity and passion of the Stellantis team was inspiring.

Pickles added: “It was the greatest privilege and honour to spend time with our inaugural Stars of Stellantis.”
